"We enjoin all Nigerians, regardless of identity, religion or political leanings to join hands with us in this difficult yet enthusiastic errand of building a superior, more prosperous nation."
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Reformists Congress (APC) has complimented President Bola Tinubu for his win at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT), calling on Nigerians to join in building a "prosperous nation."
The court had on Wednesday avowed Tinubu's win in the February 2023 surveys, throwing petitions from Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), his Labour Party (LP) partner, and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
Hours after the triumph, the APC NWC, arising from its public interview on Thursday, said lays further confidence to the adequacy of its then-presidential flagbearer.
"The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Reformists Congress compliments His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his resounding triumph at the Presidential Election Request Tribunal (PEPT)," APC's NWC said in a proclamation endorsed by its National Secretary Representative Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru.
"Having fastidiously mediated every one of the petitions brought before it by abused parties and entered judgment for our extraordinary party, the PEPT has reaffirmed the order given our party and its Presidential Competitor, presently President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by a large number of Nigerians through the polling form on February 25, 2023.
This epochal judgment has reinforced our democracy and highlighted the dynamic quality and independence of the legal executive."
"As we warrior on in the business of administration, the APC will remain on track and fearless in fostering solidarity and improving the personal satisfaction of all Nigerians as enshrined in the eight-point plan of this administration," it concluded.
