In 10 voting places in Victoria Garden City (VGC), which is located in and around the Lekki region of Lagos State, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the governorship and state assembly elections.
Affected voting units are PUs 032, 033, 119–124.
Segun Agbaje, the resident electoral commissioner for INEC, made the declaration while addressing the media.

He claimed that on Saturday, the corps members who had been assigned as ad hoc employees were reluctant to approach the VGC estate because they believed they had been kept captive during the Presidential and National Assembly elections on February 25.
He said that while the commission's ad hoc personnel had put up voting materials in front of the estate on Saturday, estate residents did not feel comfortable because they feared that hoodlums may interfere with the procedure.
He claimed that it was difficult for security personnel to control the situation, which is why he and his crew had to travel to the region.
"After proper consideration, the national headquarters has instructed us to remobilize here on Sunday morning at 8:00 in order to perform the polls. We will meet back here at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow (Sunday)," Agbaje stated.
The Action Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for governor, Tunde Doherty, whose voting location is at the VGC, described the circumstance as terrible.
