Electricity Workers have joined the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in its advance notice strike over the effect of the petroleum appropriation evacuation on the majority.

"We lament to declare that the blackout being capable right now in our establishment states is because of the advance notice strike left upon by the Nigerian Labour Congress and its partner associations," Abdullahi said.
"The activity has required the closing down of all 33KV feeders by the striking laborers.
"We trust the stalemate between the central government and the NLC will be settled earliest so that power supply can be reestablished. We lament all bothers."
