Enugu State Governorship Elections
Election for Governor of Enugu: Out of 17 council districts, the PDP and Labour Party win four each. Their main rivals, Chief Uche Nnaji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Frank Nweke Jr. of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), have not won any local governments.
The Autonomous Public Constituent Commission (INEC) has started the assemblage of consequences of the governorship political decision directed in Enugu State on Saturday with the two driving applicants, Peter Mbah of the People groups Progressive faction and Chijioke Edeoga of Work Party (LP) driving in four board regions each out of the eight LGAs so far gathered.
Frank Nweke Jr. of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and Chief Uche Nnaji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), their main rivals, have not won any local governments.
The Labour Party took Igbo-Etiti, Igboeze North, Isi-Uzo, and Oji River LGAs, while the state's ruling party won Aninri, Ezeagu, Uzo-Uwani, and Udi LGAs.
Enugu State has 17 local government areas, and the remaining nine LGAs are still waiting for results.
Be that as it may, the Work Party has discredited the control of results in Awgu, Nkanu East and Kanu West nearby government regions.
"Despite having 256 accredited figures at the Central School polling unit in Mr. Mbah's hometown of Owo, the PDP received an absurd 856 votes. The so-called Statement of Result on the Governorship Election was signed by no agent of any party, including the PDP, at the Ishienu Town Hall, Ugbawka 1, which obviously gave the PDP candidate victory.
"No party agent signed the alleged Statement of Result of the Polling Unit where I94 votes were awarded to the PDP senatorial candidate at the Oji Agu Polling Unit in Agbani in Nkanu West LGA, Senator Nnamani's hometown."
"At the Ndiuno Uwani Community School 1 Polling Unit at Akpugo, the original and authentic Statement of Result shows that the LP scored 59 votes and the PDP received 15 votes, but in their mutilated copy, which has been uploaded on the IReV portal, with all mutilation showing conspicuously, the LP was allocated just nine votes while the PDP got 55 votes," Kelvin Chukwu, the senatorial candidate for the Labour Party,
