Especially for young adults of all genders, this book is for everyone.
Young woman with bravery, Korra Obiddi. I applaud you for having the bravery to share this much information about your life. By writing about your life experiences, you have accomplished something that not everyone can. Many of the women who are reading this, despite their pretense to the contrary, have endured worse and will condemn the author. I'm happy you don't act hypocritically.
Events don't define you; it's how they effect you that does. What matters is how you use those negative experiences to better your future.
Young women must succeed in order to overcome abuse and all sorts of harassment and become ladies.
This book demonstrates how Korra has developed from a woman who wants and aspires for much more out of a very rough background to a woman who rises above the pangs of abuse and all types of harassment into women of value.
Even though they are unpleasant, these growing-up events may either break or build, and Korra has utilized them as stepping stones to advance in her development. We can see how it ended, but her marriage experiences are typical of a lady who was mistreated and exploited by the one man except her father whom she genuinely loved.
Even if you encounter a young person who is weak or defenseless, you must not exploit their flaws.
It is just plain evil. I don't see any love on Mr. J's side in the relationship; instead, I saw a man who was following a script, and even if the relationship hadn't ended this way, it would have ended eventually.
It is not worthwhile to stay in a loveless or one-sided marriage that is rife with verbal, physical, and emotional abuse. Although though Korra was wise enough to see it early on since it was not in her nature, I see that financial abuse has already permeated relationships. If there is an objective to take advantage of that one person, the plan must be carried out, which is regrettably what we witness in this marriage.
Every woman should own a copy of this book. I commend the author and encourage her to keep letting her experiences propel her to new heights. Your upward trend will only benefit you.
Congrats and well done...
